Davis Abuga is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Patents Agent duly certified by the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) and an Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice department.

Davis is a result-oriented practitioner and expert who has advised and successfully represented the world leading organizations on wide range of complex transactions including statutory and regulatory compliance, negotiation of commercial transactions, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, conveyance, conducting due diligence in commercial transactions, Court litigation, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration in areas including: Family law (divorce, succession and custody); Employment and labour disputes; Environment and land disputes; Civil Disputes (Commercial & Contract) and Intellectual Property (IP).

• Advising and representing various clients in Intellectual Property (IP) legal services in the registration process; licensing; copyrights protection; Commercialization of Intellectual Property as well as dispute resolution related thereto
• Drafting and reviewing of lease agreements, sale agreements, charges, discharge of charges, and the attendant conveyance documents as well registration processes.
• Assisting in corporate secretarial services to clients i.e. regulatory compliance such as filing of annual returns, updating company’s records, Application for renewal of relevant licenses and other legal requirements.
