• Set up of revolving Fund for the financing of University Education in Somalia with a local bank and Multilateral Lender from the Middle East;
• Carried out due diligence on companies either as part of M&A or Pre-Contracting to ensure compliance and risk management.
• M&A team lead for Target Company acquired by a Moroccan firm.
• Legal advisory on structuring Financing for loan to a local software development company to the Parent Company in Europe from the European Investment Bank;
• Commercial Lease management for the two leading Telecommunication tower owning corporations in Kenya
• Data protection and privacy advisories to various leading companies in Kenya in telecommunications, media, manufucturing, financial services
• Compliance advisory to entities seeking to set up operations in Kenya on data localization and the issuance of privacy notices·
• Advisory to a Belgian Company with operations in several countries to align their Data Protection Policy within the Africa Countries that they operate in.
• Advisory to on its privacy and data obligations and prepared a data compliance policy framework, including a data protection policy, data protection strategy and data protection clauses for inclusion in third-party contracts.
• Provision of trademark-related advisories as well as registration of the same for various companies
• Providing Advisory on the licensing and registration of various regulated entities in the technology, banking and insurance industries.
• Advising and structuring the Acquisition and Construction of Affordable Housing in Nairobi while acting for the Land Owners in a Joint Venture;
• Advising a tier 1 Bank on structuring financing for Affordable Housing Developers valued at USD. 14 Million
