Vincent Okello is an Associate in the Firm’s Banking, Real Estate and Conveyancing Practice and Dispute Resolution Practice. His work spans property transactions, the perfection of securities and litigation support for individual and institutional clients.

As a budding Advocate, Vincent’s practice is shaped by a principled commitment to clarity, structure and precision which he deploys in the development of strategies that are anchored in a client’s specific context. He presents an analytical approach to each instruction, ensuring that every matter is handled with accuracy and the urgency they deserve.

His professional interests lie in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, banking and finance law, land and property law and the broader commercial frameworks that shape the intersection between law and transactions. His additional interests include constitutional and administrative law where questions of institutional power and regulatory interpretation and procedural fairness arise.

Transaction Highlights

•  Perfection of securities, including preparation, review and registration of charges, debentures, loan agreements, drafting and reviewing professional undertakings; managing statutory execution formalities; and liaising with registries and regulatory authorities.
• Providing litigation support in commercial and constitutional claims, including drafting pleadings, preparing submissions, research on complex procedural and substantive questions, preparation of legal briefs, and client strategy notes.
• Supporting and undertaking high-value land transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing agreements for sale; transferable instruments, professional undertakings; the management of transfer processes and coordination with land registries.
• Advising purchasers and developers in residential and commercial developments, including preparation and review of long-term leases, management of completion documents, and facilitation of registration processes for large-scale housing projects.
• Supporting real estate development in large scale residential and commercial projects including the preparation of leases, tenancy agreements, licenses; guiding purchasers through completion and managing volume, complexity and timelines.
• Advising clients on regulatory requirements, assessing legal and tax implications in land transactions.
• Reviewing and analyzing recent legislative and regulatory instruments and subsequently preparing client alerts and articles for clear and practical guidance.
