A Review of the Data Protection (General) Regulations 2021

The Data Protection (General) Regulations (the “Regulations”) set out the procedure for enforcement of the rights of data subjects and further, elaborate on the duties, functions and obligations of data processors and controllers. Among other aspects, the Regulations focus on nuances related to the consent of data subjects, data portability, the right of erasure and the commercial use of personal data.
