The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has developed a set of regulations aimed at governing various aspects of upstream and midstream petroleum operations.

These regulations are part of Kenya’s broader efforts to prepare for its first full-scale commercial oil production, with objectives including attracting investment, safeguarding the environment, and ensuring that revenues benefit the wider society.
